Fresh Start Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Fresh Start is a certified men's sober living home in Marshall, Missouri, in Saline County, operated by Powerhouse Community Development Corporation, a Missouri nonprofit focused on recovery, reentry and community development.

A Men's Recovery Residence in Marshall

Fresh Start houses men working through recovery under Powerhouse CDC's broader mission of preparing people to overcome challenges through personal growth. The organization has not published a street address for this Marshall location, so anyone interested should confirm placement directly.

Backed by a Community Development Organization

Powerhouse CDC runs reentry programs and youth initiatives alongside its recovery housing, so a resident at Fresh Start has access to an organization built around more than sobriety alone. That structure can matter for someone who needs help with job readiness or reentry paperwork on top of stable housing.

What MCRSP Certification Establishes

Fresh Start is listed with the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers. Certification is voluntary in Missouri, so this listing reflects a choice by Powerhouse CDC to hold the house to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and outside review of complaints.

Saline County and Mid-Missouri

Marshall is the county seat of Saline County, and Fresh Start gives men in this part of mid-Missouri a certified recovery housing option without having to travel to Columbia or Kansas City for a comparable program.
