Amethyst Place runs three programs together for each family: supportive housing, a Family Empowerment Program addressing education and finances, and a Therapeutic Support Program built around trauma healing and mental health stabilization. Applications go through the organization, not directly to the Troost Avenue address. A referring caseworker or a mother applying on her own should expect intake to cover custody status, current housing situation and treatment history, since the program is built to serve the family unit, not an individual resident alone.
