West Post Recovery Sober House

About this Sober House

West Post Recovery is a certified sober living home in Belgrade, Montana, in Gallatin County, holding certification through the National Sober Living Association.

A Certified Sober House in the Gallatin Valley

Belgrade sits in the Gallatin Valley of southwest Montana, just outside Bozeman, in one of the fastest-growing parts of the state. West Post Recovery gives residents a certified option in a corner of Montana where housing costs have climbed quickly and stable, affordable sober living has become harder to find.

What NSLA Certification Establishes

Montana recognizes two organizations for voluntary recovery residence certification, Recovery Access Montana and the National Sober Living Association. West Post Recovery's NSLA certification commits the house to a published code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and rules before move-in, and an outside complaint process. The house is also registered with the Department of Public Health and Human Services, as Montana's 2023 recovery residence law requires.

Recovery Housing in Gallatin County

Bozeman, the county seat, anchors the Gallatin Valley's outpatient treatment, courts and employment base, and Belgrade sits close enough for residents to reach all three. A certified sober house in Belgrade gives a resident access to that network while avoiding Bozeman's higher cost of living.

Before Applying to West Post Recovery

Contact goes directly to the house. Worth asking up front: what the weekly cost covers, whether a house manager lives on site, how the house handles a relapse, and whether medication for opioid use disorder is accepted.
