Promises of Hope - Mary's Promise Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Promises of Hope – Mary's Promise is a women's sober living home in Troy, Missouri, in Lincoln County, a second residence Mission Gate Ministry runs on its Promises of Hope Ranch property.

A Second Women's House on the Ranch

Mary's Promise sits alongside the ranch's original house, giving Mission Gate Ministry two separate women's residences on the same property. Splitting the ranch into two houses lets the ministry keep resident groups smaller while sharing the same land, staff and program.

Mission Gate Ministry's Faith-Based Program

Women at Mary's Promise follow the same Christian, phased recovery model the ministry runs at all seven of its properties, applying directly through the ministry and working toward graduation and family reunification.

Recovery Housing in Lincoln County

Lincoln County sits in the outer St. Louis metro, with Troy as its seat. The ranch setting keeps Mary's Promise rural, while the county's position within reach of the St. Louis region keeps services and family visits practical.

Missouri Sober Living Certification

Missouri's recovery-residence certification through the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers is voluntary, so a home's absence from the list is not a negative finding. Mary's Promise operates under Mission Gate Ministry, a certified-eligible operator with properties in four counties.

Connected to the Rest of the Ministry

Mary's Promise shares its ranch with Promises of Hope and connects to the ministry's other women's housing at Hannah's Ranch and Angel's Landing in Cuba.
