This sober house serves women only, with eleven single beds, and Brighton's residential streets put groceries, pharmacies and public transit within easy reach on foot. ATCNE keeps this house female-only, so shared space and house culture are built around one population.

How This Sober Home Differs From ATCNE's Clinical Programs

ATCNE runs medication-assisted treatment and outpatient clinical services elsewhere in its organization, but Englewood Avenue itself is alcohol- and drug-free housing, not a treatment site. Residents living here are free to use outside providers of their choosing, and staying in the house does not require enrolling in ATCNE's own clinical programs.

Englewood Avenue is one of four ATCNE properties, alongside a men's house on Gardner Street and coed and men's houses on Quint Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue, all within the Allston-Brighton area. A resident who needs a different house within the same network can move without changing operators.
