Cheri Zunick is involved in elementary education in the Newton public school system. A mother who lost her son to opiate addiction, she has been instrumental in raising awareness of substance abuse in her community. She started a special fund in memory of her son, which led to the creation of the Zunick House, a sober house in Boston.
She is honored to be able to serve on the board of directors for Right Turn to ensure the programs offered will be here for many years to come. Making a difference in people's lives is her passion.
Cheri has a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and a Master's degree in Education. She is also a certified behavior therapist.
