Zunick House is a Massachusetts men's recovery residence in the Dorchester section of Boston, in Suffolk County, named for Josh Zunick, a member of Boston's recovery community memorialized by an addiction support organization.

Zunick House runs as a single-location operator, which puts admissions and house management in the hands of people close to the property itself.

Working Toward State Certification

The organization's residence is currently pending certification with the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing. Once complete, that certification will require a published code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and rules, and a documented relapse and discharge policy.

Serving Dorchester and Suffolk County

Dorchester is Boston's largest neighborhood, and Zunick House has built its program within that community. Suffolk County's density of outpatient providers, meetings and transit makes the neighborhood a practical base for men in early recovery.
