Proctor Farm Men's Sober House

About this Sober House

Proctor Farm is a certified men's sober living home in Danvers, Massachusetts, in Essex County.

A Men's Sober House in Danvers

This sober house in Danvers serves men in recovery on Conant Street, a residential stretch of a town that sits just north of Salem along the Route 1 corridor. Danvers gives residents access to the same outpatient and transit network that serves the wider North Shore without the density of a larger city.

What MASH Certification Establishes

Proctor Farm holds Level II certification from the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing. Certification requires the house to disclose its fees and rules in writing, maintain a written relapse and discharge policy, and accept complaints reviewed by an outside body.

Part of the Redemption House Recovery Network

Proctor Farm operates under the Redemption House name, tying the property to a broader recovery housing effort instead of standing as a single, independently branded house. For a resident, that affiliation means the house follows standards established at the organizational level, not invented house by house.

Recovery Housing on the North Shore

Danvers sits in Essex County on Massachusetts's North Shore, within reach of Salem, Peabody and the rest of the county's outpatient and court services. Men's recovery housing in this part of the county tends to draw from that whole corridor. Men's recovery housing along this North Shore corridor tends to serve a mix of local residents and people arriving from Boston and the surrounding suburbs.
