Serenity Mesa is accredited by CARF, an independent accreditor of health and human services programs. CARF surveys a program on site against published standards covering governance, service delivery, health and safety, and outcomes, and it renews on a cycle. That accreditation applies to the treatment program. It is no recovery residence certification, and New Mexico has no certifying body for those and no affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences.
