The Matthew 25 House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

The Matthew 25 House is a men's sober living home in Holcomb, Missouri, in Dunklin County. It holds certification with the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers.

A Men's Sober House in Holcomb

The Matthew 25 House provides certified sober living for men in Holcomb, a small Missouri Bootheel town. A Facebook page identifying the organization as "The Matthew 25 House - SEMO" confirms it as its own distinct southeast Missouri operation, separate from same-named organizations running unrelated programs in Iowa and Tennessee.

What MCRSP Certification Establishes in Missouri

Missouri sets no legal requirement for a sober home to certify. The Matthew 25 House carries certification through the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers regardless, which commits the house to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and a complaint process outside the house.

What to Ask Before Moving Into This Holcomb Sober House

Certification obliges written answers on the details that matter most: what the fee covers, whether a house manager lives on site, how bedrooms are assigned, and what the relapse and discharge policy says. Those are the questions worth raising directly with the house before moving in.

Recovery Housing in the Missouri Bootheel

Holcomb sits in Dunklin County near Kennett, the county seat, in the flat delta region of Missouri's Bootheel. Certified recovery housing is thin across the Bootheel's smaller towns, which makes a certified men's house in Holcomb a real option for the surrounding area.
