Respite House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Respite House is a men's sober living home in Columbia, Missouri, in Boone County, operated by In2Action and certified with the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers.

A Men's Sober House for an Immediate Need

The name signals its purpose within In2Action's program: a short-term, immediate placement for men who need housing solved quickly after release. A street address has not been published for this location; anyone arranging a placement should go through the operator directly.

What MCRSP Certification Requires

Certification through Missouri's NARR affiliate binds the residence to a published code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and rules before move-in, a documented relapse and discharge policy, and outside review of complaints, none of which Missouri law requires of a sober living operator.

Immediate Housing in Boone County's Seat

Columbia's concentration of courts, probation offices and community services makes it a practical place for a short-notice reentry placement, and its labor market gives a resident somewhere to start looking for work right away.

Connected to In2Action's Broader Housing Program

Respite House feeds into a ten-house In2Action network in Columbia, so a resident who needs longer-term Phase 3 housing after this initial placement stays with the same operator and case history.
