Carolyn's House of Faith appears on the accredited-house list kept by the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers, the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences. That accreditation is a voluntary housing standard, not a state license, and Missouri does not require a recovery residence to hold it.

Continuity From Serenity House

Because Carolyn's House of Faith shares an operator with Serenity House, a woman's medical and mental health assessment from intake carries forward into her sober living placement instead of being repeated with a new organization.

Serving Women in Jackson County

Kansas City anchors Jackson County, and Sisters In Christ built Carolyn's House of Faith specifically for women reentering the community after incarceration or coming out of homelessness elsewhere in the metro, drawing on local reentry referral networks to keep the house full and its residents supported.
