409 House Women's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

The 409 House is a certified women's sober house in Trenton, Missouri, run by Recovery Rocks Missouri as one of two peer-led residences the organization maintains in Grundy County.

A Peer-Led Sober House in Trenton

Recovery Rocks Missouri builds its housing around peer support, with women further along in recovery helping guide women newer to the process. The 409 House operates under that same model as its sister residence, the 403 House. No specific street address is published for the home, so anyone interested should confirm the location with the organization directly.

Certification Through MCRSP

The 409 House is listed with the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers. Certification is not required in Missouri, so a house carrying it has chosen to be held to a written code of ethics, disclosed fees, and a complaint process outside the organization running the house.

One Operator, Two Houses in Trenton

Because the 409 House shares an operator with the 403 House, a woman who needs a different set of housemates or a change of pace can raise it with an organization that already knows her.

Serving North-Central Missouri

Trenton sits at the center of Grundy County and draws residents from a wide, mostly rural service area in north-central Missouri, where Trenton is often the nearest place with outpatient care, courts and the other resources recovery depends on.
