Iglehart II House Men's Sober House

About this Sober House

Iglehart II House is a men's sober living home on Iglehart Ave in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in Ramsey County. It is operated by Recovery Homes of Minnesota, an affiliate of Horowitz Health that runs a small network of newly remodeled residences across the city.

A Men's Sober House in Summit-University Neighborhood

This sober house sits in the Summit-University neighborhood of Saint Paul, and it serves men in recovery in a residence the operator describes as newly remodeled. Each resident gets a private bedroom, which is not the norm at this price point in Twin Cities sober housing and tends to matter most to someone who has not had a room of their own in a while. High-speed internet and on-site laundry are included, and a house manager provides day-to-day oversight and accountability.

What MASH Certification Establishes

Minnesota's only recovery-residence credential runs through the Minnesota Association of Sober Homes, the state's NARR affiliate, and it is voluntary, not required. A certified house has agreed in writing to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and an outside complaint process, commitments a resident cannot confirm just by looking at the building. Recovery Homes of Minnesota describes its houses as carrying that certification; a resident who wants Iglehart II House's current standing confirmed should ask the operator directly, since certification here is optional and going without it is not a mark against a house.

Private-Pay Sober Living in Saint Paul

Iglehart II House operates on a private-pay basis, with monthly rent that Recovery Homes of Minnesota sets according to the room and the house. A resident paying privately avoids the waitlists that come with subsidized recovery housing, at the cost of covering the fee directly instead of through insurance or a county voucher.

Recovery Housing in Ramsey County

Saint Paul is the seat of Ramsey County, and the Summit-University neighborhood sits close to the county's outpatient treatment providers, Metro Transit bus lines and the human services offices a resident may need to check in with. That proximity is a big part of what makes a men's sober house in this part of the city practical for someone rebuilding a daily routine without a car.

Recovery Homes of Minnesota's Network of Sober Houses

Iglehart II House is one of six residences Recovery Homes of Minnesota operates in Saint Paul. The rest of the network sits within the same few neighborhoods, so a resident who needs a different house later is choosing among addresses the operator already manages, not starting over with a stranger.
