A Men's Sober House on Sierra Ln

This sober house in Rochester serves men only in recovery, which keeps bathrooms, common areas and house meetings limited to one population under one set of rules. No public address is published for this location beyond the street it sits on, so anyone interested in a placement here applies through Better Way Sober Living directly instead of showing up unannounced.

What Minnesota Sober Living Certification Establishes

Minnesota's certification program runs through the Minnesota Association of Sober Homes, the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, and participation is voluntary under state law. A certified house has agreed in writing to a published code of ethics, discloses fees and rules before move-in, and accepts an outside complaint process. That written record is what separates a certified recovery residence from an ordinary rental in a city where both exist side by side.

Recovery Housing in Rochester and Olmsted County

Rochester sits in Olmsted County, and Rochester is the county seat. That civic footprint matters for daily routine: outpatient appointments, court obligations and steady work are all reachable without depending on a car from day one. Rochester is anchored by the Mayo Clinic campus, which drives both the job market and the density of outpatient behavioral health providers in the city.
