Cape Hope Women's Sober House

About this Sober House

Cape Hope is a women's sober living home on Red Brook Road in East Falmouth, Massachusetts, in Barnstable County. It carries NARR Level II certification and is operated by Cape Hope Recovery Homes, which also runs a men's home nearby on the same street.

A Women's Sober House on Red Brook Road

This East Falmouth sober house serves women in recovery on Cape Cod, where certified sober living is scarce relative to the area's seasonal population swings. Keeping the house single-gender means every shared space, from bathrooms to house meetings, serves one population under one consistent set of rules.

What Certification Requires at Cape Hope

The house holds certification through the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing, which requires Cape Hope Recovery Homes to publish its fees and house rules before move-in and maintain a written relapse and discharge policy subject to outside review. The operator holds the same standard at its men's house nearby, so the certification record is consistent across both.

Falmouth and Barnstable County

East Falmouth sits on the Upper Cape within the town of Falmouth, in Barnstable County, an area where year-round housing is tight and often shaped by the summer tourist economy. A certified women's house here gives residents a stable address to work from through that seasonal swing.

A Men's Home on the Same Street

Cape Hope Recovery Homes also runs a certified men's house, Cape Hope Sober House, elsewhere on Red Brook Road. Both operate as separate single-gender households under the same small operator.
