About this Sober House

Rosemary's House is a certified men's sober living home in Plymouth, Massachusetts, in Plymouth County.

A Men's Sober House Near Plymouth Beach

This sober house sits on South Meadow Road in Plymouth, close enough to Plymouth Beach that the setting itself becomes part of daily life. The property is a Colonial-style New England home, giving the house a residential, lived-in feel instead of an institutional one.

What MASH Certification Establishes

Rosemary's House holds Level II certification from the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing. Certification requires the house to disclose fees and rules in writing, maintain a relapse and discharge policy, and accept outside review of complaints.

A Longer Recommended Stay

Rosemary's House recommends residents stay a minimum of six months to a year, longer than many sober houses ask for. That timeline is built around giving a resident enough time to establish a genuinely durable sober living foundation instead of a quick transition.

Recovery Housing in Plymouth County

Plymouth is the county seat of Plymouth County and a historic center for the South Shore, with courts, outpatient providers and community services concentrated around the town center, all within reach of South Meadow Road. Comparing that recommended timeline against shorter programs elsewhere in Plymouth County is worth doing before committing to a specific house.
