RHI-C - Colorado Recovery House

About this Recovery House

RHI-C – Colorado is a certified sober living home in Aurora, Colorado, in Arapahoe County, run by Recovery Housing Initiative-Colorado under Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado.

A Statewide Operator's Aurora Sober House

RHI-C describes itself as the state's premier nonprofit provider of recovery housing, and this residence is one of its Aurora addresses, located in the city's Arapahoe County section. Buckley Space Force Base and the Aurora Reservoir both sit within the broader city, and RTD's R Line connects the area to the Anschutz Medical Campus and Denver International Airport.

What ORH-CO Certification Requires

Certification through Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado commits an operator to a published code of ethics, written fees and rules disclosed before move-in, and an outside complaint process. Colorado's House Bill 19-1009 makes that certification the requirement for state referrals and funding, and since no per-residence level exists anywhere in the state, certification itself is the fact a resident can check.

Support for Residents on MAT

Residents on medication for opioid use disorder are accepted here, and rent subsidy support is available to eligible applicants. The house is adult recovery housing, not family housing, and its programming is not faith-based.
