Bloom House is a sober living home for pregnant and parenting women in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in El Paso County, on Homeward Pikes Peak's Bijou Street campus.

A Sober House for Mothers and Young Children

Bloom House keeps mothers and their children together at exactly the point where stable housing matters most: while the mother works a recovery program. The house accepts pregnant women and mothers with one child under five, and residents commit to a full year of structured sober living.

What Move-In Includes

Rent at Bloom House covers utilities, wifi and laundry, which keeps a mother's other bills predictable while she works toward independence. Homeward Pikes Peak asks residents to find employment within 30 days of moving in and to take part in 12-step or peer group coaching for ongoing accountability. The monthly program fee is $650.

Part of a Colorado Springs Recovery Campus

Bloom House sits on the same central Colorado Springs campus as Homeward Pikes Peak's men's transitional home and its women's residence, Project Detour. It opened in 2022 as the city's first residential program built specifically for pregnant and parenting women in recovery, filling a gap the operator's older programs were not designed to cover.

Recovery Housing in El Paso County

Colorado Springs is the seat of El Paso County and the service center for the Pikes Peak region, giving Bloom House residents access to prenatal and pediatric care, outpatient treatment and family services without leaving the city. Homeward Pikes Peak has operated recovery housing in Colorado Springs since 2002, and Bloom House extends that history to mothers who would otherwise have to choose between treatment and keeping a young child with them.
