About Seed Sower, Inc.
Seed Sower, Inc. is a sober living operator running four certified recovery residences for women across Greenbrier, Raleigh and Fayette counties in southern West Virginia. Three of the four house women together with their children, which makes it one of the largest providers of family recovery housing in the state.
A Southern West Virginia Recovery Housing Provider for Women
The organization serves the stretch of the state where certified beds are scarcest and overdose rates are highest. Its four residences hold forty-six beds between them, spread across three counties along the Route 60 and Interstate 64 corridors. That spread lets a woman stay near her home county instead of relocating across the state to find a certified bed.
Seed Sower Recovery Homes
- Seed Sower Manor on 4th Avenue in Montgomery, a sixteen-bed Level 3 residence for women and children.
- Seed Sower Village on Holliday Run Road in Alderson, a sixteen-bed Level 3 women's residence.
- Seed Sower Villa on Woodlawn Avenue in Beckley, an eleven-bed Level 2 residence for women and children.
- Seed Sower Flats on Main Street in Rainelle, a three-bed Level 2 residence for women and children.
Two Levels of Sober Living Under One Operator
The Manor and the Village carry Level 3 certification, describing supervised housing with structured programming and administrative oversight. The Villa and the Flats sit at Level 2, monitored housing with lighter structure. A woman can enter at the level she needs and step down without leaving the organization, which matters most for someone whose children are in the household and who cannot absorb repeated moves.
Recovery Housing for Mothers
Three of the four addresses take children. West Virginia removes children into state care at a higher rate than any other state, and the shortage of certified recovery housing that accepts them is a direct part of that picture. An operator running thirty family beds across three counties is filling a gap that very little else in southern West Virginia covers.
Certification Across the Portfolio
All four residences hold certification from the West Virginia Alliance of Recovery Residences, the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences. Certification is issued address by address, and it commits each house to written fee and rule disclosure, a written relapse and discharge policy, and complaints reviewed outside the household.
