LIV Recovery Sober Living
About LIV Recovery Sober Living
LIV Recovery Sober Living is a Missouri sober living operator based in the St. Louis metro, also known as Living In Victory, providing recovery housing across St. Charles, Jefferson and St. Louis counties and the city of St. Louis. Founded by Cameo Jones and Derrick Jones Sr., it runs seven houses alongside a Respite Program, outpatient services and a Peer Apprenticeship Program.
A St. Louis Area Recovery Housing Provider
LIV Recovery Sober Living is built around more than housing alone. Its Respite Program handles short-term stabilization for people who are not yet ready for a full sober living commitment, its outpatient services keep clinical care connected to the housing side, and its Peer Apprenticeship Program trains residents for paid work in recovery support, turning lived experience into employment.
Seven Sober Houses Across the St. Louis Metro
The houses carrying the LIV Recovery name:
- Placid House, in St. Charles, for men, with eight beds.
- Brandi's House of Hope, in St. Charles, for women, with nine beds.
- Linda's House, in Hazelwood, for women, with nine beds.
- Restoration House, in St. Louis, for men.
- Transition House, in St. Louis, for men.
- LIV Recovery Sober Living - Wright Street, on Wright Street in St. Louis, for women.
- Jenni's House, in Hillsboro, for women.
That spread covers the western, northern and southern edges of the metro plus the city itself, from one organization and one application.
Men's and Women's Recovery Homes Kept Separate
LIV Recovery runs single-gender houses. Men are housed at Placid House and the two men's residences inside the city, while women are housed at Brandi's House of Hope, Linda's House, the Wright Street residence and Jenni's House. The result is a roughly even split of men's and women's capacity across the metro, and a resident is never the only one of their gender in a building.
Certification Under Missouri's Voluntary Standard
Missouri imposes no legal requirement on a sober living home to certify, and the Missouri Department of Mental Health's licensure applies to clinical treatment facilities. The Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers runs the state's voluntary accreditation as its NARR affiliate. These houses do not currently sit on that roster, which reflects an operator choice and says nothing about the housing itself. The organization's respite and outpatient arms operate under Missouri's separate behavioral health framework.
Applying Across the LIV Recovery Network
Applications go through LIV Recovery Sober Living, and the organization considers placement across its full footprint. A resident whose fit changes after move-in can raise a transfer with an organization already running seven houses across five communities, and the fee structure and expectations travel with them.
Serving the St. Louis Metro's Recovery Community
Between its housing, respite and outpatient arms, this operator covers people at very different points in recovery, from someone who needs a few stabilized days to someone eighteen months in and training for peer support work. Missouri's MCRSP certification process outlines the voluntary standard an operator this size could pursue for its housing going forward.
