Willow House is a women's sober living home on Dike Road in Mount Vernon, Washington, in Skagit County. It is operated by New Earth Recovery, a faith-based recovery housing provider that runs eight homes across the city for men and women rebuilding a life after addiction.

What New Earth Recovery's Program Establishes

New Earth Recovery organizes its houses around the Genesis Process, a curriculum built on the idea that recovery does not hold unless the trauma underneath the addiction gets addressed directly. Willow House runs that program alongside therapeutic gardening and other structured activities the organization offers across its houses. The approach treats housing as one piece of a longer process, not the whole of it.

Support for Medication-Assisted Recovery

Women on medication-assisted treatment are supported at Willow House. New Earth Recovery partners with Compass Mental Health and other regional clinical providers so residents keep their prescribers and their housing at the same time.

Recovery Housing in Skagit County

Mount Vernon is the seat of Skagit County, and its concentration of treatment providers, courts and social services makes it the natural landing point for women coming out of detox or treatment anywhere in the county. New Earth Recovery takes referrals from Skagit County Drug Court and Catholic Community Services, connecting residents to case management before they arrive.

Willow House is one of eight New Earth Recovery homes in Mount Vernon, which include entry-level, second-step and third-step housing split by gender. A resident who needs a different level of structure later can move to another New Earth Recovery house without leaving the organization.
