New Earth Recovery
About New Earth Recovery
New Earth Recovery is a faith-based sober living operator based in Mount Vernon, Washington, running nine certified recovery residences across the city in Skagit County. The organization builds its program around deep emotional healing, holding that recovery does not last unless the trauma behind addictive behavior gets addressed directly.
A Mount Vernon Recovery Housing Provider
New Earth Recovery runs housing across three stages: entry-level homes for residents new to recovery, second-step homes for those with more time, and a women's third-step home for ongoing community support. Clinical care runs through outside providers while the operator focuses on housing, structure and peer accountability.
Eight Sober Living Homes in Mount Vernon
New Earth Recovery's Mount Vernon homes include The Foundation, Willow House, Cedar House, The Trust, Faith House, Hilltop House, Juniper House and Alder House, along with the Walter Street House. Men's and women's houses are kept separate, with men applying to The Foundation, Cedar House, The Trust, Hilltop House, Juniper House or Alder House, and women applying to Willow House, Faith House or the Walter Street House.
WAQRR Certification Across the Portfolio
Several of New Earth Recovery's homes are certified by the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, most at Level 2 and one at Level 1. Certification residence by residence commits the organization to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and an outside complaint process at every address it runs.
The Genesis Process and Medication-Assisted Recovery
Every New Earth Recovery house runs the Genesis Process, a curriculum aimed at root wounds and trauma, not surface behavior, alongside therapeutic gardening and other structured activities. Residents on medication-assisted treatment are supported across the portfolio, so a change of address does not mean a change in access to prescribed care.
Serving Skagit County
Mount Vernon is the seat of Skagit County and the largest city between Seattle and the Canadian border, giving New Earth Recovery's residents access to courts, outpatient providers and Skagit Valley College without leaving the city. The organization takes referrals from Skagit County Drug Court, Catholic Community Services, Sunrise and Compass Mental Health.
One Organization, Several Sober Homes
Applications go through New Earth Recovery directly, and a resident who needs a different stage of the program, or simply a different house, can move within the organization instead of starting over somewhere new.
