ABSOLUTE Ministries Men's Campus House #5 Men's Recovery Home

About this Recovery Home

ABSOLUTE Ministries Men's Campus House #5 is a men's sober living home in Lake Tapps, Washington, in Pierce County, part of the residential campus ABSOLUTE Ministries runs for men in recovery.

The Fifth House in a Growing Men's Campus

Campus House #5 is the latest-numbered of the men's houses ABSOLUTE Ministries operates around Lake Tapps, which tells a prospective resident something the address alone does not: the ministry has kept adding capacity in this one corner of Pierce County instead of spreading thin across the region.

Daily Structure at an ABSOLUTE Ministries House

Every ABSOLUTE Ministries resident works through the same expectations regardless of which numbered house he lives in: employment or steady volunteer work, a personal development workbook, and involvement with a local church. The ministry, founded in 2009, built its program around those three commitments instead of a fixed length of stay.

WAQRR Certification and What It Requires

This house is certified by the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences, Washington's NARR affiliate. Certification in Washington is voluntary, so it reflects a choice: written rules disclosed before move-in, a published code of ethics, and outside review of complaints instead of an internal-only process.

A Pierce County Campus for Men in Recovery

Lake Tapps sits east of Auburn on the Pierce County side of the reservoir it is named for, close to Bonney Lake and within reach of the Highway 410 corridor into the greater Tacoma job market. Residents at Campus House #5 share that footprint with several other ABSOLUTE Ministries men's houses nearby.
