Staff and Peer Support

The operations manager holds a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist credential and worked for five years at RICARES before joining Access and Care Recovery. The house manager is also a substance use disorder counselor. Access and Care Recovery works from trauma-informed care with an individual recovery plan for each resident, and connects residents to community resources as they move toward independent living.

Inside the House

Residents at Access and Care Recovery share a kitchen and a living room. Shared bedrooms have storage and natural light. Smoking is confined to one furnished outdoor area set aside for the purpose, a rule the house frames as balancing individual choice against the comfort of everyone else living there.
