A Four-Bed Sober House for Men in Toledo

Birchall is one of several small men's houses Vital Health LLC operates in the city, and a four-bed household keeps peer accountability close and direct. The population stays exclusively men across meetings, bathrooms and shared living space.

What Managed Recovery Housing Certification Covers

Ohio Recovery Housing's Managed level describes peer-managed housing with staff oversight layered in, while clinical care and medication stay with outside providers. Certification requires a published code of ethics, fees and rules disclosed before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process independent of the house.

Recovery Residences Across Lucas County

As the Lucas County seat, Toledo carries the hospitals, courts and public transit the surrounding county relies on, which matters to residents managing medical appointments or court dates while rebuilding a routine after treatment.
