East 93rd is a men's sober living home in Cleveland, Ohio, on the city's east side, in Cuyahoga County. It is the transitional-program residence of the Ed Keating Center, a recovery organization that has run sober living for men and women in the Cleveland area since 1998.

A Men's Sober House on Cleveland's East Side

East 93rd holds up to one hundred men, making it the largest of the Ed Keating Center's three residences. The operator does not publish a street address for this location beyond the general east side of the city, and placement runs directly through the organization rather than through an open listing.

Transitional Structure for Men Who Complete the First Program

Men move to East 93rd after finishing the three-month Sober Living Program run out of the center's Brookpark Road facility, so the house is built for a resident who already has a foundation and needs a longer runway to make it permanent. That two-stage design lets the organization keep a newer arrival's routine separate from someone further along.

The Ed Keating Center's Model for Men's Recovery

The center was founded in 1998 by Jack Mulhall, Phyllis Eisele-Curran and Dennis Eckersley, and it has run a two-stage program for men ever since: an initial three-month house followed by transitional housing at East 93rd for those who want to keep the structure longer. The organization also runs a separate women's residence, Jean Marie House, in nearby Brookpark.

Cleveland is the largest city in Cuyahoga County and carries most of the county's treatment providers, courts and entry-level employers, all of which matter to a man rebuilding a life on the east side. A resident moving between the center's own houses stays inside the same city and the same support network throughout.
