About this Recovery House

House One is a women's sober living home in Cleveland, Ohio, certified by Ohio Recovery Housing and serving Cuyahoga County. It is certified at the Managed level and houses four residents.

A Small Women's Sober House in Cuyahoga County

Four beds makes this one of the smallest certified houses in the county, and the size is deliberate: a small group of women share the house's rules, meetings and common space directly with each other.

Managed-Level Certification and This Recovery Residence

Ohio Recovery Housing's certification, one list with the state registry since the start of 2026, obligates a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and house rules before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and a complaint process outside the house. The Managed level here means peer-managed housing with staff oversight, and clinical care comes from outside providers.

Cleveland and Cuyahoga County Recovery Housing

Cleveland anchors Cuyahoga County, with a hospital and court network large enough to support several certified women's houses within the same few miles.

The street address is not published, and placement runs through the operator, Scarborough House for Women. Ask what the weekly fee covers, how the four beds are assigned, and how a complaint is escalated past house staff.
