Meramec Cabins Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Meramec Cabins is a men's sober living home in Sullivan, Missouri, in Franklin County, operated by Mission Gate Ministry along the Meramec River corridor.

A Men's Recovery Home Along the Meramec

Meramec Cabins gives men in recovery a rural, riverside setting distinct from Mission Gate Ministry's St. Louis guest houses. Cabin-style housing and outdoor surroundings mirror the ministry's other ranch properties in Cuba, built around structured days and physical work instead of city routines.

Mission Gate Ministry's Faith-Based Model

Residents at Meramec Cabins follow the same Christian, phased recovery program the ministry runs at its other six Missouri properties, applying directly to the ministry and progressing toward graduation and family reunification.

Recovery Housing in Franklin County

Sullivan sits in Franklin County, whose seat is Union, in the outer edge of the St. Louis metro along Interstate 44. The location gives residents a rural setting without cutting them off entirely from the St. Louis region's services.

Missouri Sober Living Certification

Missouri's recovery-residence certification, through the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers, is voluntary, so a home's absence from the list is not a negative finding. Meramec Cabins operates under Mission Gate Ministry, a certified-eligible operator active across four counties.

Part of a Larger Ministry Network

Meramec Cabins is Mission Gate Ministry's only property in Franklin County, connected to the ministry's other men's housing in St. Louis and Cuba through one shared application and program structure.
