McNeely House Men's Recovery House

About this Recovery House

McNeely House is a certified men's sober living home in Kansas City, Missouri, in Jackson County, and one of the few Healing House addresses the operator names on its own website.

A Men's Sober House Healing House Names Publicly

Most Healing House properties are referenced only by category on the operator's site, but McNeely House appears by name alongside the organization's recovery homes, a signal of how long the house has been part of the network. The specific street is not published; Healing House places residents once accepted.

MCRSP Certification at McNeely House

Certification through the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and a written relapse and discharge policy, with an outside complaint channel available to residents.

Part of a Kansas City Recovery Network

Healing House combines McNeely House with CARF-accredited outpatient treatment and a recovery community center in Kansas City, keeping clinical care and housing under one roof for men who need both. Jackson County's courts, employers and transit sit inside the same city.

Applying to McNeely House

Admission goes through Healing House itself. Ask what the weekly fee covers, whether a manager lives on site, and how the operator's other men's homes, Wesley House and Ruth's House, compare if a transfer is ever needed.
