A Men's Sober House on 667 Holly

This sober house in Saint Paul serves men in recovery, and it sits inside the Summit Hill and Crocus Hill corridor where several of The Retreat's residences cluster. That concentration matters for someone moving between levels of structure: the street, the neighbors and the walk to the corner store stay familiar even if the specific house changes. Metro Transit's bus routes along Grand and Summit Avenues put downtown Saint Paul and the surrounding job market within an easy ride, which is often the first practical question a new resident asks about an address.

What MASH Certification Establishes in Minnesota

The Minnesota Association of Sober Homes certifies recovery residences against NARR's national quality standards, and the 667 Holly House holds that certification. A certified house has agreed in writing to a code of ethics, has to disclose its fees and rules before move-in, and accepts outside review of complaints. Certification in Minnesota is voluntary, so a resident comparing options can treat it as a genuine point of difference.

Recovery Housing in Ramsey County

Saint Paul is both the city and the county seat of Ramsey County, and that concentrates the services a resident actually needs: outpatient treatment providers, Ramsey County's human services offices and the Green Line light rail connecting to Minneapolis all sit within the same few miles. A men's sober house in this part of the city puts a resident close to appointments without requiring a car from day one.

The Retreat's Network of Sober Living Homes

The 667 Holly House is one of several residences The Retreat operates in Saint Paul as continuing care after its residential program. The organization groups its houses by gender and keeps them within walking distance of one another, so a resident who needs a different set of housemates or a change of pace can raise it with staff who already know the house.
