About this Sober House

Katherine House is a women's sober living home in Weymouth, Massachusetts, in Norfolk County. It is certified through the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing at a capacity of six residents and is operated by Hope Beyond Hope.

A Women's Sober House in Weymouth

This sober house serves a small household of six women in recovery. The certifying registry does not publish a street address for this particular home, so residents and families should confirm the exact location directly with the operator.

What MASH Certification Establishes

Certification through MASH, the state's affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, requires a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and an outside complaint process. It places the house at NARR Level II, with a manager on site while residents pursue treatment through outside providers.

Weymouth's Place on the South Shore

Weymouth is a South Shore town in Norfolk County with MBTA commuter rail and bus service into Boston, giving residents a practical route to appointments and work in the city without needing a car.

What to Ask Before Moving In

Because the exact address is not published, prospective residents should ask the operator directly for the house's location along with the usual questions: what the weekly fee covers, whether a manager lives on site, and how the house handles a relapse.
