The Marc Thomas Rose House Men's Sober House

About this Sober House

The Marc Thomas Rose House is a men's sober living home in Wareham, Massachusetts, in Plymouth County.

A Step-Down Sober House on Cherry Street

This sober house in Wareham serves as the graduate house for men who have completed the structured first phase of Evergreen House's program nearby in East Wareham. Men move to Cherry Street once their progress is judged ready for a less restrictive setting, carrying the habits built during Phase One into a home with more independence.

Part of a Certified Recovery Program

The house operates under the same nonprofit organization that runs the certified Evergreen House residence, extending that program's standards into a graduate setting instead of starting a resident over with a new set of rules.

A Second Phase of Recovery

Where Phase One centers on mandatory in-house meetings and close supervision, the graduate phase at the Marc Thomas Rose House is built for men who have already shown they can hold to that structure and are ready to practice more independence while still living among peers in recovery.

Recovery Housing in Plymouth County

Wareham sits in Plymouth County on the approach to Cape Cod, and the Marc Thomas Rose House keeps graduating residents inside the same regional network of services that supported them through Phase One. A family comparing step-down housing options should ask how progress is actually measured before a man is invited to make that move.
