Faith House #5 Men's Sober House

About this Sober House

Faith House #5 is a men's sober living home on Clifton Street in Dorchester, Massachusetts, in Suffolk County, operated by Faith House and certified at Level II by the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing.

A Men's Sober House on Clifton Street

Faith House #5 serves men in recovery, following the same single-gender structure the operator runs at each of its eight houses. The property sits in Dorchester, one of Boston's largest neighborhoods, with MBTA bus routes covering the surrounding streets.

Weekly Structure and Amenities

Residents at Clifton Street have access to the same core setup Faith House provides across its network: an on-site house manager, a weekly house meeting, weekly drug testing and on-site laundry.

Level II Certification

The Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing certifies Faith House #5 at Level II, which commits the operator to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, and an outside complaint process.

Part of an Eight-House Network

Faith House, a family-owned operator, runs seven other certified houses across Dorchester and Roxbury. A resident at Clifton Street who wants a change of address has several other Faith House houses nearby to ask about.

Recovery Housing in Dorchester

Dorchester carries most of the Faith House network and much of Suffolk County's recovery housing overall, with dense transit and a wide range of outpatient providers reachable without a car.
