Ham House is a recently renovated home centrally located on Main Street in Wareham, within reach of the town's historic downtown and the Wareham Crossing shopping plaza. Thirteen women live there, the largest of Lana Atamian's three certified entry-level houses.

What MASH Certification Establishes

Certification commits the operator to a published code of ethics, written disclosure of fees and house rules before move-in, and a relapse and discharge policy a resident can review in advance. It also subjects Ham House to complaint review outside the operator.

Graduating to Next Level After Six Months

Ham House is an entry-level house, and Lana Atamian's own program describes a path forward: women with six months or more of sobriety can move on to her Next Level graduate house. That pathway gives a resident a next step to work toward.

Accountability Groups and In-House Peer Leaders

Weekly accountability groups, house meetings and ongoing 12-step engagement structure daily life at Ham House, supported by a custom resident phone application and in-house peer leaders. The operator runs the same model across her other Cape Cod and Wareham houses.

Wareham's Position on the Cape Cod Canal

Wareham sits in Plymouth County on the South Shore side of the Cape Cod Canal, close to the Bourne Bridge crossing into Cape Cod proper. That location puts Ham House within reach of both South Shore services and the Upper Cape without residents needing to commit to either region exclusively.
