About this Recovery House

Growing Sober Male is a men's sober living home in Boynton Beach, Florida, in Palm Beach County, on Southeast 14th Avenue.

A Men's Sober House on Southeast 14th Avenue

Growing Sober Male houses men only, and it runs as the counterpart to Growing Sober Female, a women's house the same operator keeps at the same Boynton Beach address. Keeping the two houses single-gender means one set of house rules and one set of shared space for each group, with no mixed-gender bathrooms or common areas to manage.

Sober Living Certification in Florida and Why It Is Voluntary

Florida does not require a recovery residence to certify. The credential that exists, through the Florida Association of Recovery Residences, is voluntary, and the state keeps no public list of who currently holds it. A certified house discloses its fees and rules in writing and accepts an outside complaint process, so it is worth asking Growing Sober Male directly whether it currently holds that credential.

Men's Recovery Housing in Palm Beach County

Boynton Beach sits in Palm Beach County, on Florida's southeast coast between Delray Beach and West Palm Beach, an area with one of the highest concentrations of recovery housing anywhere in the state. Interstate 95 and the Palm Tran bus network give a resident of Growing Sober Male access to outpatient care and entry-level work without needing a car right away.

What a Prospective Resident Should Ask This Boynton Beach Sober House

Applications for Growing Sober Male go directly to the operator. The basic questions apply here as anywhere: what the weekly fee covers, whether a manager lives on site, how bedrooms are assigned, and what happens after a relapse. A men's house built around early recovery should be ready to answer all of them in writing.
