The house was recently renovated with a new roof, fresh paint inside and out, new luxury vinyl plank flooring, and new furniture throughout, and it sits within walking distance of grocery and shopping in the neighborhood.

What Colorado Certification Covers

This residence is certified through Colorado's recovery residence certification system, administered by Ohio Recovery Housing for the state's Behavioral Health Administration. Certification requires Foundations Incorporated to publish house rules and fees before move-in, keep a written relapse and discharge policy, and submit to outside complaint review. Colorado does not publish per-residence certification levels, so certification itself, not a tier, is the fact worth confirming before applying.

Medication-Assisted Treatment Is Accepted

Foundations Incorporated supports residents using medication-assisted treatment across its houses, including Douglas House, so a woman stabilized on a prescribed medication does not have to give up housing to keep her treatment plan intact.

Loveland and Larimer County

Loveland sits in Larimer County, whose seat is Fort Collins, and the two cities share outpatient providers, transit and a community college system along the US-287 corridor. A resident of Douglas House has a mid-sized city's grocery stores, employers and services on hand, with Fort Collins and Colorado State University a short drive north.
