Depew House Recovery House

About this Recovery House

Depew House is a recovery home in Arvada, Colorado, in Jefferson County, run by Empower Recovery alongside its other certified sober living homes in the Denver metro area.

Peer Coaching and Wellness at Depew House

Empower Recovery organizes its houses around peer coaching, personal budgeting support and structured wellness activities, on top of a stated commitment to place residents in jobs within thirty days of move-in. The approach targets people coming out of substance use treatment as well as people reentering the community after incarceration.

What ORH-CO Certification Confirms

Depew House is certified through Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado, Colorado's BHA-approved certifying body since it replaced the Colorado Association of Recovery Residences in 2025. Certification requires the operator to publish a code of ethics, disclose fees and house rules in writing, and accept an outside complaint process. Colorado's certification guide lays out the full requirement.

Limits to Confirm Before Moving In

Ohio Recovery Housing – Colorado does not list Depew House as supporting medication-assisted treatment, family housing, or a rent subsidy. That is a sensible question to put to Empower Recovery directly for anyone weighing those needs.
