Certification Through Ohio Recovery Housing - Colorado

Empower Recovery's houses are certified through Ohio Recovery Housing - Colorado, the BHA-approved body that replaced the Colorado Association of Recovery Residences after it closed in 2025, and which serves as Colorado's NARR affiliate. Certification requires a published code of ethics, written fee and rule disclosure before move-in, and a complaint process handled outside the house, and Colorado House Bill 19-1009 ties that standard to state referrals and funding. Medication, Family Housing and Subsidy Policy

Ohio Recovery Housing - Colorado lists Empower Recovery's certified residences as not supporting medication-assisted treatment, family housing, or rent subsidies. Anyone weighing those needs should raise them directly with the operator before applying to any of its six houses.
