Sober in Sunnyslope Men's Sober House

About this Sober House

Sober in Sunnyslope is a men's sober house on Sahuaro Drive in the Sunnyslope neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona, in Maricopa County. Sunnyslope is one of the city's older residential districts, built along the base of the mountain preserve that gives the neighborhood its name.

A Men's Sober House on Sahuaro Drive

This sober living home serves men only, and the single-gender setting is the one fact every applicant can count on when a house has little else published. Anyone considering the house should confirm directly with the operator how bedrooms are assigned, what a typical day looks like and what the house expects in the first thirty days.

Recovery Housing in Sunnyslope and North Phoenix

Sunnyslope sits along the Cave Creek and 7th Street corridors, within reach of North Mountain Park and the outpatient clinics that cluster along Bethany Home Road and Northern Avenue. That geography puts a Sunnyslope sober house within a short drive of meetings, part-time work and medical care without requiring a trip across the Valley.

Arizona Certification and Licensing for Sober Homes

Arizona operates two separate systems that apply to a house like this one: voluntary certification through the Arizona Recovery Housing Association, the state's NARR affiliate, and state licensing through the Arizona Department of Health Services. Confirming which credential applies is a reasonable first question for any Phoenix sober house.
