Recovery Alliance
About Recovery Alliance
Recovery Alliance is a sober living operator in El Paso, Texas, in El Paso County, running certified recovery housing for men and women across the city. The organization has provided recovery coaching since 1998 and peer recovery services since 2002, and its sober housing has grown into four residences carrying certification from the Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network.
A Peer Recovery Organization Behind El Paso Sober Living
Recovery Alliance is not primarily a landlord. Recovery coaching and peer support are the organization's founding services, and the sober houses grew out of that work: staff who already knew residents through coaching relationships built housing to keep that support available around the clock. That history shows up in how the houses run, with peer accountability built into the model from the start.
Four Sober Houses for Men and Women in El Paso
Recovery Alliance operates four sober living homes in El Paso:
- Alas Nuevas, a women's residence.
- Album House, a men's residence.
- Casa Vida, which houses both men and women.
- Casa Vida de Salud, a men's residence and the largest of the four, with sixty beds in central El Paso.
Splitting four houses this way lets Recovery Alliance keep men's and women's housing separate while still running one network, so a resident who needs to change houses is having that conversation with staff who already know their case.
TROHN Certification Across the Network
All four Recovery Alliance houses carry certification from the Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network, the state's NARR affiliate, at Level II and Level III. That certification commits every house to a published code of ethics, written fees and rules before move-in, and an outside complaint process, which is not a given in a state where recovery housing certification is entirely voluntary.
Serving El Paso and the Border Region
El Paso is the seat of El Paso County and the anchor city of Far West Texas, a border community with its own labor market, bilingual services and a healthcare and social service network that most of the surrounding region depends on. Recovery Alliance's four houses sit inside that infrastructure, close to its center.
Applying to a Recovery Alliance Sober House
Applications go through Recovery Alliance directly, and the organization's coaching background means intake usually includes more than a housing screen. Addresses for individual houses are not published; anyone applying works out placement, house fit and move-in details directly with staff who already run the coaching side of the program.
