Album House Men's Recovery Home

About this Recovery Home

Album House is a men's sober living home in El Paso, Texas, in El Paso County, certified at Level II and Level III by the Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network. Recovery Alliance, an El Paso peer recovery organization, operates the house as part of a four-home network across the city.

A Certified Men's Sober House in El Paso

Album House serves men exclusively, and it runs on the same peer-coaching model Recovery Alliance built its reputation on before it ran any housing at all. A street address for the house is not published; anyone applying works directly with Recovery Alliance to arrange placement and move-in.

TROHN Certification and What It Requires

Certification is voluntary in Texas, and Album House carries it anyway. Level II and III certification from the Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network obliges the house to a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before a resident moves in, and an outside complaint process. That combination is what separates a certified sober house from a landlord renting rooms to people in early recovery.

One of Four Recovery Alliance Houses

Album House sits alongside a women's residence, a coed residence and a 60-bed men's facility under the same operator. A resident who needs a different living situation later, or simply a change in housemates, is raising it with an organization that already runs more than one option in the city.

A Sober House Serving El Paso County

El Paso anchors Far West Texas and functions as the region's only large labor market and service hub for a wide stretch of the border. Men placed at Album House have access to that full infrastructure, from job openings to outpatient providers, without leaving the city.
