Residency requires an established period of recovery, typically 12 months or more, and a sustainable income.

A Peer-Driven Recovery Community

Residents at Providence Ministries' houses are described as a peer-driven support community, where men support and encourage each other toward continued growth in wellness and recovery, with the organization providing housing and structure.

Wraparound Support From a Larger Nonprofit

Because Providence Ministries also runs Kate's Kitchen, a free community dining room, and a food pantry, sober living residents have access to services beyond the house itself, all inside the same Holyoke organization that has served the community since 1980.
