About Healing Housing

Healing Housing is a nonprofit operator providing women's recovery housing across Middle Tennessee, including Nashville and Davidson County.

A Donor-Funded Women's Housing Operator

Healing Housing covers a resident's first twelve weeks of housing entirely through donor funding, then moves to a sliding scale, with as much as sixty percent refunded to a woman who completes the full program. Few Tennessee sober living operators structure fees this way.

Clinical Care Built Into the Program

The organization runs Intensive Outpatient Treatment itself instead of referring residents elsewhere for clinical care, combining housing and treatment under one roof for the full year a woman typically stays.

Reaching Women Before Release

A separate application track for incarcerated women lets someone plan housing before she is even released, closing a gap that leaves many people with nowhere to go the day they walk out.

What Tennessee Requires of a Recovery Housing Operator

Tennessee law requires recovery residences to be certified by one of two bodies, the Tennessee Alliance of Recovery Residences or Recovery is the New High.
