Aspell Recovery Center
About Aspell Recovery Center
Aspell Recovery Center is a Tennessee treatment and recovery housing operator based in Jackson, with additional campuses in Humboldt and Savannah.
A West Tennessee Recovery Housing Provider
Aspell Recovery Center runs a full continuum of care, not housing alone: residential treatment, intensive outpatient programming, aftercare and sober living all operate under one organization. The center reports serving roughly 120 people a day across those combined services.
Two Sober Houses in Jackson
Aspell operates:
- Truman's House, on McCowat Street in Jackson.
- Charlie's House, on North Highland Avenue in Jackson.
Both are men's residences on the organization's home campus in Jackson, Madison County.
A Continuum From Treatment Into Housing
Because Aspell runs residential treatment and outpatient care alongside its sober houses, a resident can move between levels of care without switching organizations or relearning a new set of providers. That continuity is a structural advantage a standalone sober house cannot offer on its own.
A Maternal Recovery Program
Aspell also runs A Mother's Love, a joint program with Pathways serving expecting mothers with a history of opioid dependence, alongside its men's sober housing in Jackson. It reflects an organization built around more than one population's needs.
Serving Madison County and West Tennessee
Jackson is the seat of Madison County and a regional center for West Tennessee outside Memphis. Aspell's campuses in Humboldt and Savannah extend that reach to smaller communities in the surrounding region.
Reaching Aspell Recovery Center
Applications for Truman's House or Charlie's House go through Aspell Recovery Center directly. Anyone applying should ask how the two Jackson houses differ in structure and which one has an open bed, since both share the same parent organization and campus.
