A Sober House Named Flourish House in Milwaukee

Flourish House sits within the city of Milwaukee, though the operator has not published the street it occupies. The address becomes available once an inquiry turns into an application, standard practice for an independently run sober house in the city.

What Milwaukee County Offers a Resident Here

Milwaukee County concentrates more addiction treatment providers, sober living homes and public transit routes than any other county in Wisconsin. A resident at Flourish House draws on that same network of outpatient clinics, courts and bus lines serving the rest of the city's recovery housing.

Certification and Registration Are Optional in Wisconsin

Wisconsin does not require a sober living home to certify through the Wisconsin Association of Sober Housing or to register with the state Department of Health Services. Flourish House does not currently appear on either, a position shared by a large share of the state's smaller recovery homes.
