HAWC Foundation Phase 3 - Coed House III Coed Recovery House

2532 4Th Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia, 25703

About this Recovery House

HAWC Foundation Phase 3 is a coed recovery residence on 4th Avenue in Huntington, West Virginia, in Cabell County. Five people live here, all graduates of HAWC Foundation's Phase 1 and Phase 2 programs, and the residence is certified by the West Virginia Alliance of Recovery Residences.

A Phase 3 Sober Living Home on 4th Avenue

Phase 3 is the last stage of the HAWC program, and the terms reflect it. Residents pay $350 a month plus a share of the utilities, which is a rent-and-bills arrangement. Five people share the house. 4th Avenue is Huntington's downtown spine, running past Pullman Square, the federal courthouse and the older commercial blocks, which puts this address at the center of the city's walkable core.

What Two Completed Phases Establish

Admission requires graduating both Phase 1 and Phase 2. By the time someone reaches this address they have moved through the operator's system twice and lived under its rules for an extended stretch. The household is made up entirely of people at that stage, and the reduced structure is calibrated to it.

Medication-Assisted Recovery in This Huntington Recovery Home

Vivitrol, Sublocade, Suboxone and methadone are all accepted. Someone in the last stage of a program who is stable on a prescribed medication has the most to lose from a housing rule that forces a choice, and this residence does not create one.

Downtown Huntington and Cabell County Recovery Housing

The 2500 block of 4th Avenue sits east of downtown toward the Marshall University edge, inside the grid that holds the Cabell County Courthouse, the transit terminal and most of the county's outpatient providers. Huntington is the county seat and the regional center for a service area that reaches into Wayne, Lincoln and Mason counties as well as across the state line, so a resident here is inside the labor market and appointment network that a rural address cannot reach.
