The Clarksburg Mission, LLC- Resurrection Program Coed Recovery House

About this Recovery House

The Clarksburg Mission Resurrection Program is a coed recovery residence in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the seat of Harrison County, on North 4th Street. Thirty-two residents live here at no cost, under Level 3 certification from the West Virginia Alliance of Recovery Residences.

A Free Thirty-Two Bed Sober Living Program

No fees at all, for men and women, at the second-highest certification level West Virginia recognizes. That combination is rare anywhere in the state and almost unheard of in the northern half of it. The program serves people who are in early recovery and without housing, a group that fee-based sober living effectively excludes.

What Level 3 Certification Establishes

Level 3 describes supervised recovery housing with administrative oversight and structured daily programming, above the peer-run and monitored tiers and below clinically staffed residences. Certification requires the program to publish its rules in writing before entry, hold a written relapse and discharge policy, and accept complaints reviewed outside its own management. In a free program, where a resident has no financial leverage at all, an external complaint route is the accountability that matters.

Coed Recovery Housing in North Central West Virginia

Men and women are both housed here. Coed certified recovery housing is uncommon in West Virginia, and at thirty-two beds with supervised structure the program is holding one consistent set of expectations across a mixed population.

Medication-Assisted Recovery in This Harrison County Recovery Home

Residents on medication for opioid use disorder are accepted. Prescribers and United Hospital Center sit in Clarksburg and neighboring Bridgeport.

Clarksburg, Harrison County and the I-79 Corridor

Clarksburg is the county seat, sitting on the West Fork River where Interstate 79 meets US 50 in north central West Virginia. It holds the Harrison County Courthouse, the family court and the region's social services, with Morgantown forty minutes north and Fairmont twenty. North 4th Street runs through the older district close to downtown, which puts residents within walking distance of the services a person arriving with nothing needs first.
