Yakama House Men's Recovery Home

About this Recovery Home

Yakama House is a men's sober living home in Wapato, Washington, in Yakima County, certified at Level 2 and operated by Yakima Valley Recovery, which locates the house on the Yakama Reservation corridor of the lower Yakima Valley.

A Men's Sober House Near the Yakama Reservation

Yakama House takes its name from the reservation corridor it sits within, an area Yakima Valley Recovery serves specifically alongside its houses in Yakima proper. The operator places its homes in residential neighborhoods, and Yakama House follows that pattern.

WAQRR Level 2 Certification

Certification through the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences commits the house to a written code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules, and a complaint process outside the house itself. Medically assisted treatment is accepted, matching the standard across Yakima Valley Recovery's other homes.

Serving the Lower Yakima Valley

The lower Yakima Valley around Wapato is largely agricultural, and Yakima itself, a short drive north, carries the county's outpatient providers, courts and larger employers for residents who need them.

Part of a Twelve-House Network

Yakama House is one of five Yakima Valley Recovery locations in Wapato, with seven more across Yakima, so a resident who needs a different setting has options inside one organization.
