About this Recovery Home

ABSOLUTE Ministries Men's House is a certified sober living home for men in Lake Tapps, Washington, in Pierce County, operated by ABSOLUTE Ministries.

A Men's Sober Living Home in Lake Tapps

This house is one of several ABSOLUTE Ministries maintains for men around the Lake Tapps reservoir, and like the others it runs under one set of house expectations set by the ministry itself, not by an individual house manager working alone.

Faith, Work and Accountability

ABSOLUTE Ministries has run its recovery housing since 2009 on three pillars: steady employment or volunteer work, a personal development workbook every resident completes, and a connection to a local church. Those expectations do not vary by address, so a man moving between ABSOLUTE Ministries houses finds the same structure waiting for him.

Certified Through Washington's NARR Affiliate

The house holds certification from the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences. Certification is voluntary in Washington, and an operator that carries it has committed to a published code of ethics, disclosed rules and fees in writing, and an outside complaint process.

Lake Tapps Within the ABSOLUTE Ministries Network

Lake Tapps is an unincorporated Pierce County community bordering Bonney Lake, and it is where ABSOLUTE Ministries concentrates most of its men's housing. A resident here shares access to the ministry's church connections and employment network with men living in its other nearby houses.
